Nessebar is one of the oldest cities in Europe and a popular tourist destination on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. The old town, located on a small peninsula, impresses with cobblestone streets, Renaissance houses and numerous medieval churches, and is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city combines a rich history, a maritime atmosphere and proximity to the beaches of Sunny Beach.
The summer climate in Nessebar is warm and sunny, with temperatures most often between 26 and 30°C. The sea breeze makes the heat more bearable, and the sea water usually reaches 23–25°C. Precipitation during the season is rare, which makes the period from June to September particularly suitable for sea tourism.
